Bentley History:
Bentley Motors was formed in England in the 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley. However, it was two years later(1921) that the first model of his automobiles arrived. It was the "3-litre" Bentley. There were several versions of this 3-litre four-cylinder cars and labels. This car was relatively successful and production continued until 1927.It won the Le Mans competition in 1927 and also in 1930.Rolls Royce then acquired Bentley motors during the great depression of the 30s.Through the years, the “Bentley Brand” suffered a great deal and almost completely disappeared during the 1970s.However,the brand revived its fames in 1982 when the company introduced the Mulsanne and the Turbo R.Elegant Vehicles. These were powerful luxury sports cars and actually enjoyed even more attention than Rolls Royce. Through the years, the most notable car became the Bentley Continental which continued until the late 1990s.It was using a 6.75 turbocharged V8 engine. This was subsequently followed with the introduction of the Azure convertible and Arnage powered by BMW.In 1998,Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors was purchased from its owner Vickers by Volkswagen for £430 million, after bidding and beating fierce competition from BMW. This led to the introduction of new modern Bentley models like the Bentley Continental GT, a large luxury coupe.

It also uses a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive as the standard. Bentley Arnage R is a 4-door, 4-passenger luxury sports sedan equipped with a standard 6.75-liter, V8, 450-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 10-mpg in the city and 15-mpg on the highway. The standard for this model is 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Bentley Arnage RL is equipped with a standard 6.75-liter, V8, 450-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 9-mpg in the city and 15-mpg on the highway. It also uses a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive as the standard.
